"Everything okay?" A voice asked.
Wavestripe turned around, it was Driftwood, she felt her ears turn hot for letting
someone sneak up on her like that "No I'm fine." She said quickly, hoping he would leave.
He rolled his eyes "When you say it like that something's obviously wrong, come on."
"Like I told you, I'm fine."
She got up and went to take a step, and felt the sand shift beneath her."WOA!"
She yowled as she tumbled down the slope. She felt him try to pull
her back up, but he lost his grip and they both were
sent down the slope. They landed in a bundle at the bottom of
the hill. She came back to her senses
and tried to push him off.
"Hey!" He exclaimed.
"Did I hurt you?" She said, worried that she hurt him.
He looked at her for a second, she began to feel uncomfortable.
The he reached over and gave her a playful cuff over the ear.
"Come on, let's go back to camp." He said as he got back up and shook
the sand out of his fur.
"Uh.. okay." She said feeling embaressed that she had been staring for
so long. Something about him, just made her feel, happy.
He gave a friendly blink and headed back to camp. She watched as he
trotted up the trail, The muscles under his pelt rippling
smoothly. She gave her pelt a shake and followed him up the
trail.
